I met Hanna in Surrey. She had been forced to leave Kyiv at the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Hanna shared her feelings about sometimes still looking back at the past that will never return, or a future that may never be. But she also acknowledges all the profound experience of her present in all that imperfection around her, "It is interesting to observe it, it is so unusual, difficult and strange, but also joyful and very valuable."
