Viktoria Chikalo (b.1988 in Lviv, Ukraine) is a London based portrait and documentary photographer. In her practice, she focuses on the inherent intimacy of portraiture and visual storytelling. Her works depict the human figure, animals, objects, landscapes and architecture. She works with digital, film and print. Her photography practice began in the fashion industry and expanded into editorial, documentary and fine art photography. Her vision moves, balancing from directed setups to simple everyday occurrences. Viktoria is passionate about film, poetry, philosophy, nature and life itself.

Viktoria contributes to publications such as the British Journal of Photography, Bluecoat Press, ELLE, The Times, The Guardian, LensCulture, Beyond the Frame, the British news media, etc.

The winner of the UK's annual photography award, Portrait of Britain (2024).
